Terms of use

The short version: Relio is beta software, provided as is. Last updated 2026-10-27.

The software

Relio is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.

Beta status

Relio is early beta software. Review every Short before you publish it, and keep your own backups. The Windows and Linux versions have not been tested on real devices yet.

Your content

You keep all rights to your videos and exports. You are responsible for having the rights to the footage you process and the Shorts you publish.

AI processing

On Mac, Relio sends audio, transcripts and sampled frames through its server to OpenRouter, which passes them to an AI model provider. Windows and Linux send requests to Google’s Gemini API using your own API key. The relevant providers’ terms apply.

Your account

Keep your password safe and don’t use the account to break the service or access other people’s data. Accounts may be removed if they are abused. See the Privacy page for what the account stores.

Changes

These terms may change as Relio grows. The date at the top shows the latest version.
