On your computer

Sent for AI processing

Relio has no offline mode. On Mac, requests go through Relio’s server (Supabase) to OpenRouter; in the web app, through Relio’s server on Vercel and an AI model provider. Windows and Linux send requests directly to Google’s Gemini API using your own API key. The relevant providers’ terms apply to this data:

Temporary audio files are deleted after each request. The server logs may include portions of model responses for diagnostics. See OpenRouter’s Privacy Policy and Terms, and Google’s Privacy Policy and Gemini API terms.

Saved to the cloud (web app)

So you can open your work on any device you sign in on, the web app saves it to your account:

Deleting a project deletes it here and in the cloud, including its video unless another of your projects uses the same video. When a new video doesn’t fit in your 1 GB, Relio asks before deleting your oldest videos from the cloud.

Your Relio account

Your Relio account is stored with our database provider, Supabase. Relio is free during the current beta and takes no payments. Besides the cloud copy above, the account stores:

Database rules let each user read only their own records.

Website analytics

The website and web app use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure how fast pages load. They use no cookies and don’t identify you; Vercel records the page address, referrer, browser, device type and country. Project addresses are shortened before they’re sent, so project titles never reach Vercel.

The web app also counts a few product steps (signing up, choosing a video, starting and finishing an analysis, how many Shorts were made, each export and its quality, re-analyses and reaching the limit) in our database, with only rough video lengths (such as “10–30 min”) and counts. These records hold no account, title or anything you wrote.

Bot protection and the waitlist

The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is signing up. Cloudflare sees your browser and IP address for that check; the one-time result is checked when your account is created and not kept. If the beta is full and you join the waitlist, we keep only your email address, to tell you when a spot opens, plus a short-lived scrambled form of your IP address to limit spam.

Deleting your account

In the web app, open Settings › Account › Delete account. It deletes your account at once and for good: every video in Cloudflare R2, your projects, folders, Shorts, exports, usage records, promo codes, name and username, and the copy in the browser you use. A copy in another browser’s storage stays there until you clear that browser’s data for this site. This can’t be undone.
