RELEASE NOTES

Changelog

What's new in Relio Clips, newest first.

0.1

2026-11-06 · CURRENT

Relio Clips now runs in your browser at relioclips.com. Nothing to install.

New

  • A new name: Prism is now Relio Clips, at relioclips.com.
  • Make Shorts in the browser: upload a video, pick settings and captions, review the picks, and export MP4s.
  • Your projects and videos follow your account to any computer (1 GB of cloud storage per account).
  • Choose the language of the video, or leave it on Auto. Relio keeps one language for the whole video, sung lyrics included.
  • How many Shorts and how long each one is start at Auto.
  • A bigger video player in the editor.
  • New sign-up and sign-in pages, with password reset.

Improved

  • Relio AI no longer stops at busy times: it retries quietly and switches to a backup model when needed.
  • Every Short that's ready is saved. If some couldn't be made, Relio says how many and offers Retry.
  • Titles use words actually spoken in the clip.
  • Vertical videos keep their whole frame.
  • Settings › Usage shows which videos are only on this device, and why.
  • Clearer error messages, without technical codes.

Fixed

  • Pages taller than the window now scroll.
  • Captions no longer leave gaps between phrases.
  • Exporting works in Safari.

0.0.1

The first public beta, as desktop apps.

New

  • Installers for macOS, Windows and Linux.
  • A guided tutorial for your first video, with an optional editor tour. Replay it from Settings › Account.
  • Sign in with a Relio account.

Fixed

  • Email confirmation links open the Relio website.
  • AI timeouts show an error instead of silently losing Shorts.
  • Crops stay inside the frame for every video size.

Thanks to NeoChief (@neochief) for contributing.

Early build
