ABOUT RELIO

One video in.
Many Shorts out.

Relio is a desktop app that turns long videos into vertical Shorts with captions.

What Relio does

Import a podcast, lecture, interview or stream. Relio transcribes it, finds moments that stand on their own, and cuts them into vertical Shorts. It reframes each one for the small screen and adds captions in the language spoken in your video. You review every Short and make the final cut before you export.

Who it’s for

Creators, podcasters and streamers who want more short-form videos from the long recordings they already make, without spending hours in an editor.

Where it runs

Relio is an early beta for macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon. Windows and Linux ports have not yet been tested on real devices. Your source files and finished videos stay on your machine. See Privacy for what is sent for AI processing.

Beta access

Relio is free during the beta. Every account gets 60 minutes of video to make Shorts from and 1 GB of cloud space for videos; Settings › Usage in the app shows what you have left. Open Relio.
